Pick-up from preferred location – reliable and on time

It is often not possible to send a shipment using regular methods, especially if sensitive goods or very personal items are involved or in exceptional situations. The GO! pick-up service closes this gap. ‘No matter where from ... no matter where to’ is what GO! has committed to. As part of its pick-up service, the logistics service provider specialises in reliably serving highly specific and challenging pick-up locations, both in Germany and abroad. That means GO! not only picks up a shipment from any conceivable location, but also delivers it to exactly its intended destination. Ranging from the hospital ward to the field, where an agricultural machinery engineer requires an urgently needed spare part. No matter which location, what time or which particular requirements are requested.

“What is key is our reliability”, says Ulrich Nolte, CEO of GO! Germany, “because customers are not on site themselves when consignments are picked up. And they need to able to rely on everything running smoothly, especially if sensitive consignments are involved. ‘We take the term pick-up literally and therefore have a more nuanced understanding of it than our competitors. Furthermore, pick-ups can be managed within tight time slots – even up to 15 minutes to the precise deadline in Germany and Austria.

Combination with value-added services

The pick-up service can be upgraded by adding GO! value-added services. The service can thus be combined with notification by telephone shortly before pick-up, as well as with packaging or further data synchronisation. If needed, GO! will provide shipping documents or the shipment directly with the appropriate label. Furthermore, the customer can also augment the pick-up service by booking any of GO!’s other regular solutions and additional services, like, for example, scheduled pick-ups or weekend and public holiday delivery and pick-up.
