GO! expands into the Netherlands

Europe’s largest independent provider of courier and express services continues to grow: GO! is set to launch operations in the Netherlands on 1 April 2024.

  • from domestic, to express, to direct delivery: GO! now additionally offers incoming and outgoing shipments between the Netherlands and the rest of the world.
  • the new GO! Express & Logistics Netherlands B.V. operates from Nieuw-Vennep (Amsterdam) and Veenendaal (Arnhem).

Bonn, 25 March 2024. The GO! Express & Logistics group is growing: the new GO! national subsidiary in the Netherlands opens on 1 April 2024. With the two new Dutch locations, in Nieuw-Vennep (Amsterdam – AMS) and Veenendaal (Arnhem – QAR), GO! is meeting customer requirements and expanding its premium services in the heart of Europe. 

The CEO of GO! Express & Logistics Netherlands B.V. is Christopher Biggs (53). A native of the UK, the experienced CEP manager has lived in the Netherlands for five years. After 27 years with a large company in the CEP industry, where he advanced from courier driver to branch head, Biggs will now put his executive talents to work for the Dutch national subsidiary of GO! He will be supported by a ten-member team that jointly draws on several decades of CEP experience.

GO! west – expansion at 40
‘Even in our 40th anniversary year, we’re expanding and not about to slow down,’ says Martina Baerecke, GO! CEO at the Bonn headquarters. ‘The Netherlands is a strong economic country in the heart of Europe and home to Rotterdam, the continent’s largest port. Our Dutch operations will complement our offerings – to the full benefit of our customers,’ she adds with conviction. ‘This expansion strengthens our business position in the CEP market and increases our independence.’

In financial year 2023, GO! Express & Logistics once again registered clear growth, with the network of partners carrying more than 10 million shipments. And it did so with unbeaten quality performance: the network has a 99.43 per cent delivery rate and a simultaneously minimal damage rate of just 0.02 per cent. With the expansion of the network and its national Dutch subsidiary, GO! is meeting the needs of customers seeking to implement logistics services of this level in the Netherlands.

Individual logistics solutions to meet any challenge

- individual scheduling options for collection, delivery and direct delivery

- along with its standard services, the Dutch GO! subsidiary also offers emergency storage, shipping of animals and dangerous goods, as well as air charter and sea and air cargo services

GO!’s extensive network ensures overnight service to all European economic centres. Deliveries to any key international commercial centre can be made within 48 hours, and to almost any destination worldwide within three to four days.
