Charity golf tournament supports "It's for Kids"

Under the motto "Golf for Good", everything revolved around handicaps on 20 May 2022. For one day, people teed off, putted and did something good for children.

Initiated and organised by GO! Express & Logistics, the Am Zehnhoff-Söns Group and the endeco Group, a good 60 golfers swung their clubs and putted for the It's for Kids Foundation.

Prize money and donations were donated to selected aid projects. A total of almost € 19,000.00 was collected on this day for the It's for Kids aid projects "Himmel & Äad" in Cologne, the "Balthasar Children's and Youth Hospice" in Olpe, the flood relief "Die AHRche e.V." and the "Mutwald" project.

 

 

Something in the belly and something in the head. Himmel & Ääd in Cologne gives needy children and young people a second home, with warm meals, homework help, leisure activities and much more.

Germany's first children's hospice since 1998. Here, families with a life-shortening child find a "second home for a time". Nurses and children's nurses, children's grief counsellors, therapists and even clinic clowns help to make the time good and meaningful.

Here, volunteers as well as affected residents have come together.
These are projects in various areas which include the restoration of playgrounds, the construction of a gymnasium and the creation of a warm winter for the people in the Ahr valley through the so-called one-room heating system.

Mutwald is an It's for Kids project with the aim of offering children with cancer a place that promises courage and can be a symbol of life energy and joy. For this purpose, each child plants its own tree in the Courage Forest, to which it can return at any time.
