Change in the management of GO! General Overnight Service (Deutschland) GmbH
Ulrich Nolte becomes new Managing Director of GO!
(Bonn, 16 December 2009) With effect from February 1, 2010 Ulrich Nolte (45) will take over at GO! General Overnight Service (Deutschland) GmbH.
"In Ulrich Nolte we have succeeded in recruiting an experienced express and logistics expert to the management of the GO! Head Office in Bonn", states Knut Engler-Leblanc, chairman of the GO! advisory board.
Ulrich Nolte has a degree in business administration and about 16 years experience of the CEP sector, including posts with DPD and DHL. Most recently Mr Nolte was Director Express at GLS, where he was also responsible for the operations of its DER KURIER subsidiary.
"In appointing Ulrich Nolte to the post of Managing Director of the GO! Head Office we have set the course for the uninterrupted ongoing development of GO!", confirms GO! advisory board chairman Knut Engler-Leblanc, adding: "He has an in-depth knowledge of the CEP industry and its customer potential, and in his new position he will make a major contribution to the competitiveness of GO! on the courier and express market in Germany and Europe. This will ensure that in the future, too, GO! will continue to set the pace in the overnight express logistics segment." Ulrich Nolte has the expertise to open up new customer potential on a range of markets both in Germany and abroad. This is to be implemented by intensifying the central section of Business Development and Sales, backed up by the launch of new, innovative express services.
The Head Office in Bonn, where Ulrich Nolte will be assuming the management, is responsible for central functions within the GO! system in the form of the Quality Management, International Development, IT, Finance & Accounting, Marketing/PR and Business Development / Sales sections, as well as the overnight linehaul network with its logistics hub in Niederaula.
