GO! partners confirm Ralf-Hans Dierks as new CEO
Bonn. The 15 shareholding partners in the GO! Express & Logistics courier and express network have acted quickly. Less than 14 days after Norbert Suttarp left the company by mutual consent acting manager Ralf-Hans Dierks (40) was officially appointed CEO. The shareholders’ assembly accordingly confirmed the position of Mr Dierks, who had initially been appointed on a temporary basis. Mr Dierks has unlimited responsibility for all control and management functions at the Bonn head office, the main hub in Neuenstein near Bad Hersfeld and the line-haul network.
The tasks which await the qualified forwarding manager are familiar territory. He was head of the finance and accounts department from 2001, until last March his responsibilities were extended considerably and he was given powers of procura as commercial manager.
Controlling and a number of other areas of the commercial management continue to be the direct responsibility of the CEO, while Julia Mix takes over as head of the finance and accounts department. The former head of financial accounting has been with GO! for four years and has already worked in close cooperation with Mr Dierks. The other departments will remain unchanged and their departmental heads will report to the CEO direct.
Reacting to his confirmation in the post of CEO Mr Dierks stated: "I look forward to the tasks that await me in my new capacity. We will push ahead with our existing strategy, with the main focus on strengthening our domestic and international sales and boosting the process of internationalisation."
