Norbert Suttarp is essentially industry born and bred. He gained his early experience of the CEP market during 13 years as one of the first employees of UPS Germany. Five of those years were spent managing various branches, while he spent eight years managing various divisions. In the meantime he held a number of field management roles.
Early in 1989 he took on the role of European representative in the UPS team that was planning to expand the organisation.
From 1990 he worked in various management roles at DPD, where he was one of those responsible for European expansion.
In 1994 Easy GmbH hired him as their managing director. Two years later he was with Deutsche Post AG, working in their Acquisitions division and helping develop their European express system.
In the summer of 1997 he was appointed managing director at the Polish company Euro Express-Partner in Warsaw. There he was responsible for the Sales, Marketing, International Relations and Customer Service areas.
On 1st July 2000 he began as MD of GO! General Over-night Service (Deutschland) GmbH. Since then he has been driving GO!s market and quality leadership vis-à-vis other medium-sized express logistics companies.
