‚Everything goes!’ online: GO! General Overnight relaunches its Internet presence

Bonn. The motto of the medium-sized express and courier company GO! General Overnight (Service) Deutschland GmbH, ‚Everything goes!’ also applies from now on to its new Internet presence. On its homepage, www.general-overnight.com, GO! presents the trusted trademark with a new, dynamic design. The portal combines detailed information with a high level of user-friendliness and generous customer service. All of GO!'s depots can be directly accessed from the homepage.
The main categories are supplemented by, e.g., the sections ‚News’, ‚Partners’ and ‚Useful stuff’. It is GO!'s way of responding to its customers' interest and provides extensive information to those partners in whose hands a GO! consignment is trusted as part of certain express products. In the ‚Useful stuff’ section, visitors have access to helpful tips and certain forms they might need. For example, invoice or video declaration templates can facilitate despatch. Tried and trusted sections such as direct links to the product range and to online ordering are retained.
The easily-understood online ordering document and the quick access online consignment tracking facility enhance GO!'s service, as does the ‚Depot finder’. Town names can be used to quickly find a certain GO! depot, or otherwise postcodes can be used in the ‚Tools’ section. Here GO! also tells visitors how long transport will take to the customer, and what distance is involved. Customers can also see, e.g., what the latest collection time is.
The new homepage is also hoping to be a tool for improved dialogue with customers, partners and other interested parties. The homepage invites users to use direct links to communicate with GO! - playfully via the GO! photo competition, and interactively via an option to anonymously submit opinions about the company and its services. The pool of information was particularly extended as regards the company itself, by answering the most frequently asked questions, for example by providing details of quality certifications, of the company's mission and various references. An index of direct contacts and depots will shorten lines of interaction, current schedules can be accessed and a centralised job market will distribute job applicants' details to the GO! network.
Lutz Blankenfeldt, GO!'s Marketing Manager and the person responsible for the relaunch project, describes the objective, „Our objective was to provide our visitors with not only the usual facts and details but also more news and direct access to our network. We have succeeded in doing that - the first reactions from customers and visitors have confirmed as much“.
