GO! General Overnight − Management sets new goals
PRESS INFORMATION
May 2003
Bonn. Norbert Suttarp (47) has headed up GO! General Overnight Service (Deutschland) GmbH on his own since July 2000. Since then he has been working vigorously to develop the "GO! General Overnight" brand through a strategy of national and international expansion.
Born in Münster, and responsible for the association of 15 companies and partners, Suttarp has very ambitious objectives: "GO! General Overnight is already synonymous with personal and highly flexible national and international transport solutions.
It is important to us to go on expanding internationally and to maintain our position - which independent tests have given us - as the number one in terms of quality." The aim is to achieve those goals through partnerships and through offering products that are tailored to the marketplace. Nonetheless, Suttarp remains realistic: "Of course, competition is fierce in the CEP sector. But it is the small differences that will bring us success in the long-term. We are proving every day that we can resolve even very specialised transport problems." Everyone involved in the network is committed to this.
Norbert Suttarp has been working in the industry for almost 25 years, having never moved away. He knows better than anyone the strengths and weaknesses of the companies operating in the German and European markets. If Suttarp has his way, GO! will develop its unique identity so that it is stronger than ever.
The new umbrella brand strategy, the deployment of Key Account Management, Product Management, Quality Management and standardisation of international software systems are leaving GO! well-equipped to face the future. "By bundling strategic competencies, the GO! umbrella brand is being extended − and will be an even greater driving force than before for our companies, the 60-plus GO! depots in Germany and our partner depots around the world."
