GO! General Overnight internationalises its quality management system
Following Germany's lead, GO!'s partners in Austria and Switzerland now have DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certification
Bonn. The medium-sized express and courier company GO! General Overnight (Service) Deutschland GmbH is now also ensuring that its services are of the highest quality in other countries. The German network having already received certification, now the quality management systems of the Swiss network and that of GO!'s Austrian depots have also been certified by the globally-recognised standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. GO! General Overnight Service (Deutschland) GmbH passed the rigorous checks on the company's organisation and services last year, and also passed the standards in the 2004 recertification audit.
For GO!, the certificate is more than mere lip-service. Every depot is obliged to continuously improve its quality management system. The standards are repeatedly updated as part of the annual audit, and the recognition is officially examined every two years. The main requirements to get the certificate include providing process-driven documentation of procedures, customer care, an assessment of customer satisfaction and the measurability of the company's objectives.
