Air transport safety
In our globalized markets, air transport consignments give us the possibility to carry them fast and reliable to every single place all over the world. GO! EXPRESS & LOGISTICS uses this transport-network.
Similarly to check-in at passenger flights, the packaging and contents of air transport consignments have to pass through safety controls. This is necessary to exclude forbidden objects in freight or combined passenger / freight planes.
According to directive (EG) 2320/2002, soon to be replaced by (EG) No. 300/2008), of the European Parliament about safety in civilian air transport and the federal air transport safety directive (LuftSig), there are organizational and technical possibilities to reach the required safety in air transport.
Generally, GO! EXPRESS & LOGISTICS uses x-ray to make a contribution to air safety. We think it is a more effective operation. But you can as well use the arrangements for collaborations between known shippers and regulated agents, too. Additional information is available from the federal civil aviation authority (LBA) or from a competent contact person in your GO! Station.
